Barry and I recently traveled to Edinburgh. While I have lots to share about what is now my third favorite city, I honestly don’t know where to start. Let’s try it with photos instead. Maybe I’ll elaborate later. 🙂
Sir Walter Scott Memorial, visible out the window of the restaurant where we ate breakfast every morning at our hotel:

The Ferris Wheel just outside our hotel, Elephant House (Rowling, anyone?), and Dolly, the first sheep cloned. Below, a rando bagpiper.
Beautiful pictures! You must get so much writing inspiration on a trip like this!
I love the British Isles and want to visit there so badly! I’m writing a story about a soldier who trained on the Scottish moors for D-Day! I also love Hamish MacBeth novels and listen to them read by Graehm Malcolm. Love the accent!
Kayleen, I’m sorry I overlooked your message! We adored Edinburgh, and would go back in a heartbeat. You should try to make it there. How cool that you are writing about a soldier training on the Scottish moors. I think a research trip is in order, don’t you? 😉
